What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 12:00 noon. Our reception is staffed 24 hours, so you can arrive at any time of day or night.
What is the cancellation policy?
On the Flexible rate, you can cancel free of charge until 18:00 the day before arrival. The Non-refundable rate is 12% cheaper but cannot be cancelled, amended, or refunded once booked.
Is a deposit required to book?
For the Flexible rate we take card details to guarantee the booking but do not charge until check-in. The Non-refundable rate is charged in full at the time of booking.
Are children welcome?
Yes. Children of all ages are welcome. The Junior Suite comfortably sleeps a family of three using the sofa bed; cots can be added to most rooms on request, subject to availability.
Are pets allowed?
Prousty Hotel is pet-friendly. We welcome one well-behaved dog per room at no extra charge — just let us know in advance so we can prepare the room.
Is smoking permitted?
All rooms and indoor areas are strictly non-smoking. Guests are welcome to smoke on the rooftop terrace in the designated area.
Is there parking at the hotel?
We do not have on-site parking — Malasaña is a dense historic neighbourhood. The nearest public car park is Plaza de los Mostenses, a five-minute walk away, and we are happy to reserve a space on request.
Can I check in early or check out late?
Early check-in and late check-out are offered free when the room is available. If you would like to guarantee it, you can book the night before or after, or ask reception for a half-day rate.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is an optional add-on at €16 per person per night, served in our café-bar. You can add it to any rate plan when you book or simply order it during your stay.
Is the hotel accessible?
The building has a lift serving all floors and one fully step-free Classic Double with a roll-in shower. Please contact us before booking so we can confirm the accessible room is available for your dates.
